IThe NAACP VB Branch celebrated heavily during the 2nd Annual Juneteeth festival at the oceanfront. Team Lamb did a phenomenal job in orchestrating this event and our Branch was honored to be a part of this growing initiative. On Monday, 19 June, our branch got the crowds energized during our curated, high vibrational segment. The crowds were reminded of the importance of the 10-1 movement as well as getting out to polls to vote! Furthermore, an educational video on the foundation, evolution and the continued efforts of the NAACP was instrumental in new member registrations during the festival. Thank you to every one that became a new member, donated or stopped by to say hello. With your support we will continue our efforts to fight for justice and bring resources to the community. We had great dialogue with VB Interdenominational Ministries Conference, VB Mayor Bobby Dyer, the VA's Hampton Roads Director for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for military and veterans, The JUVEE brothers who will be bringing the JUVEE Carnaval festival to Virginia Beach in July 2023, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement of Hampton Roads (N.O.B.L.E.).
